Whether you’re exploring our Online Education (Grades 1–12) or Blended Home School (1–9) programs, this section covers the most common inquiries from parents and students.   • We offer two Alberta-accredited pathways:

    • Online Education (Grades 1–12): A fully online program leading to an Alberta High School Diploma.

    • Blended Home School(1–9): A shared-responsibility program combining home-based and teacher-supported learning.

  • Yes. Both pathways are fully accredited through the Prairie Land Public School Division, ensuring recognized Alberta Education credits and diploma.

  • Our programs are open to students across Alberta, other Canadian provinces, and internationally, depending on the program level and eligibility.

    • Blended Home School: Grades 1-9

    • Online Education: Grades 1-12

  • Students can study English, Math, Science, Social Studies, Islamic Studies, and Arabic, with additional electives available for high school.

  • Islamic values are woven throughout all subjects. All of our teachers are Muslims and have undertaken PD with our Basira certified teacher. We have dedicated courses in Islamic Studies for grades 1-9, and courses developed for High School credits in Islamic Studies.

  • No. Parents receive support from certified Alberta teachers, the shared responsibility facilitator, and principal if needed. They will be available to help plan lessons, track progress, and provide resources.

  • Our classes are live because we believe in the importance of our students forming a relationship with their teachers. It can be flexible as they can learn anywhere in the world as long as they have a device with reliable connectivity to the learning platforms.

    Students with learning challenges are noted on the Inclusive Education teacher’s workload and if needed, they will develop individual program plans for the student where they have the necessary modifications and accommodations .

  • Students need a laptop or computer, strong andstable internet connection, camera, microphone, headset, and a printer/scanner. Access to the online learning platforms such as Canvas or Google Classroom is provided by the school.
