Blended Home School
The Perfect Balance Between Home Education and Online Learning.
What is Blended Homeschooling?
Blended homeschooling allows you to mix Online Learning with Home Education learning, giving you the best of both worlds. By choosing this program parents choose subjects they are comfortable with teaching and leave the other subjects to be taught by our certified teachers online. Our Shared Responsibility program is something we offer to students in grades 1-12. Another term used to describe this program is Shared Responsibility. Just like in a homeschooling program, Al-Amal Online Academy will assign parents/guardians to a Home Education facilitator to direct them through their teaching. For high school students who wish to obtain an Alberta High School Diploma, they must follow the Alberta Program of Studies. If you want to be sure your child receives a high school diploma you may want to consider the full time online program which follows the Alberta program of studies.
Why choose a Blended Homeschooling Program?
Blended responsibility programming would be the best choice for parents that would like to homeschool their children part time and leave the rest to certified teachers. Many parents have stated that they appreciate the accountability and follow up certified teachers can give their children with particular subjects and still have the flexibility to home school their children in areas they are passionate about.
